Weighing only 875 kg and boasting 875 HP for an astounding power-to-weight ratio of 1:1, the Peugeot 208 T16 completed the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in just 8 minutes and 13.878 seconds, becoming the first vehicle to break the 8-minute mark. The French-developed race was was driven by nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb.

“Though the Goodwood hill climb is shorter at 1.16 miles and with fewer corners, it is nonetheless a challenging course driven by accomplished drivers in competitive vehicles,” said Peugeot, who obviously hopes to break more record with the 208 T16 Pikes Peak car.

Besides the 208 T16, Peugeot will also showcase the RCZ R and the Onyx Concept.
