Peugeot 208 Is so French It Dances

We think that the Peugeot 208 marks the return to form for the French car. Not only is it smaller than the 207 it replaces, but it’s also much better looking. In fact, the 208 is so French in nature that it’s even gotten a taste for modern dancing.
Well, it’s actually a carefully choreographed group of people who are doing the dancing, but it’s still a sign of the emotional, quirky but very lovable French car. The video was shot on the Geneva Motor Show floor, where Peugeot brought not only the regular car, but also a concept for the next GTi, a hot hatch expected to deliver 200 hp.

The 208 is lighter by an impressive 110 kg on average than the 207, but Peugeot says this can be as much as 173 kg in some cases. The French have introduced an engine range that include three-cylinder fuel-sipper, but we’re eager to see a good performance model built by the lion.

We've even heard that Peugeot will introduce a compact crossover based on the 208. So small really is beautiful!
