A little over five months after the revealing of the facelifted version of the Peugeot 207, the car is ready to take on the Australian outback, in all four versions - hatch, GTi, CC and Touring. The 207 can be purchased locally starting from AU$22,490 for the XR 1.4 version equipped with a manual transmission.
The 207 will come in XR, XT and GTi models. The 207 CC is available with two engines, a naturally-aspirated 1.6l 88kW unit and a 110kW turbocharged one. The Touring model, dubbed Outdoor, is available with a 1.6l engine, both petrol and diesel engines.
Fuel consumption has been optimized by reducing the vehicle's rolling resistance resulting in CO2 emission levels of under 100 g/km.
The revised 207 received a redesigned front, new rear lights with panels of light emitting diodes (for the hatchback and CC models), as well as new exterior body colors and chrome detailing.
The entire 207 range now benefits from Peugeot Connect USB with Bluetooth and in-car entertainment system, one-touch direction indicator function for safe lane changes, remote controlled window closure (hatchback and SW versions), as well as one-touch operation of the driver’s electric window (CC).
Additionally, in Australia, the range will be offered with the following features:
