You know how they say nothing is for free, right? Well, some things are, just like this Peugeot 307 whose current owner simply abandoned it. Apparently, it used to belong to a female driver who now left for studies. Problem is, the car seems to be in such a bad shape that basically no sane person would dare driving it. The giving away announcement is what makes for any petrolhead’s delight since it was written with great humor.
As you can clearly see, the car is an average, older model Peugeot youngsters would normally drive. Sure, if it were for the US and not the UK, instead of this Peugeot we’d probably be talking about a minivan. Point is, the car is not on sale, it’s more like a bad prize for any person willingly to go by the mere shape it’s currently in and take it home.
Now, we have none but the announcement writer’s word to trust for this one, so we’re going to plant this venture under a skeptic question mark. If we were to trust this ad, then we are looking at a city car that used to belong to the daughter of a petrolhead who runs a car magazine. He decided to “give it away before it makes me throw up a bit in my mouth (again).”
We’re not planning to ruin the pleasure of reading the ad yourself since we’re looking at a pure one-man show, if you want, but let us just tease you folks a little. To what the ups around this car are concerned, we’re looking at a vehicle that “is a car and has an engine”, with a new battery and a functional stereo.
The iffy parts are what make it so hilarious, of course. Things such as an utterly scratched paintwork, missing tire caps and a lot of dirt inside the car are what turn this Peugeot 307 in one of the dirtiest still in function.
