Their story recently went viral after they have sold an army of the metal machines for almost one million RMB ($159,727). In the picture above, the two craftsmen are seen posing next to replicates of the main characters, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee built in full scale.

According to the Daily Mail, Xhilin decided to start making the stunning metal sculptures back in 2007, after the movie first hit China’s theaters.

Transformers was highly acclaimed in the communist country, with the latest installment - Age of Extinction, becoming the highest grossing film ever in the country. This is mostly thanks to the fact a lot of the cars used in the movie are Chinese, also because of the fact some of the scenes were shot in Hong Kong.

The two are far from being the only ones to make these full scale robots, but they sure are some of the few that actually turned it into a real business.
