CCTV footage taken in eastern China’s Anhui Province on Wednesday morning shows the dramatic moment when a man is knocked off his bicycle and then literally run over and trapped under it as he attempts to cross a street. But the scene becomes way more intense seconds after, when police and passers-by almost instantly crowd around the car and lift it so the man could be pulled out.
They say we live in a world of greed, a place where people would only care of their own daily problems, endlessly chase for money and for something they don’t have. But this video is there to prove the planet still has some humanity left. The elderly cyclist was obviously doing nothing wrong when he tried to pass a cross only to find himself run over and trapped under a car.

But the moment it happened, people who saw the incident immediately crowded around the car and literally lifted the vehicle so they could pull the injured man out.

A policeman present at the incident reported: “I saw the accident happen just two meters awat from a zebra crossing. When I got to him I found that he was trapped under the car. I alerted the businessmen near by and the passing taxi drivers who took the initiative to stop. Together, we lifted the car and helped the elderly man out.”

This whole scene made us remember of yet another impressive gesture similar to this one. It was this August when a man was boarding a rush train at Stirling station, northwest of Perth, Western Australia, when he slipped and one leg became wedged in the gap. Luckily his leg was saved when people on the platform tilted the 10,000-tons train.
