The EV craze has simmered down and from the tens of products offered by carmakers from across the world, it’s all boiled down to a few really strong contenders that proved to have what it takes to make their own market.
One of these contenders is the Chevy Volt, which through the right blend of badge, presence and technology has won many people over. The best feature is that you really have very little to compromise. It’s about the size of a normal compact and has a gas tank and an engine so you can not simply run out of juice and stop.

According to Fox News, the Volt has even managed to impress the US Department of Defense, as the Pentagon is going to purchase 1,500 electric cars including Volts.

This is just the latest in a long line of similar moves that are meant to make the armed forces less dependent on oil imports and also greener. Military bases around America has begun uses LPG vehicles as well.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
