Pedrosa Aims for Win at Indianapolis

Spaniard Dani Pedrosa is looking forward to this weekend's race at Indianapolis in the United States, animated by his team's work on developing the bike.

The Spanish rider knows his team made some improvements with the bike and they will be aiming for the win.

"I'm really looking forward to riding in America again because the last time we were in the States - at Laguna Seca in July - we won the race", said Dani.

"A result like that would be great for me and the team and that's what we'll be aiming for, though we know we'll have to work hard for it because our rivals have proved they are very strong in the last few races", he continued.

Although he was only able to finish second at the last GP in the Czech Republic because of Jorge Lorenzo's fall, Pedrosa's enthusiasm about winning the Indianapolis race can at least mean his team managed to reduce the gap with the Yamahas.

Excited about the team's progress recorded during the Brno-Indianapolis break, Pedrosa thinks the 11 second gap between them and Yamaha from last race doesn't reflect the true difference between the two factory-backed bikes' potential.

"I don't think the gap they had at the last race in Brno was a true reflection of our pace compared to theirs though, so I expect we're going to be closer to them at Indy", revealed Dani.

"The team is motivated for Indy - we made some progress in the test after Brno, so we're looking for another strong weekend", concluded the Spaniard.
