The Jumbo Jet or the Queen of the Skies is renown for being the first wide-body aircraft ever produced and, of course, for its distinctive “hump” upper deck along the forward part. The aircraft itself is a decommissioned model 747-200 Jumbo Jet built in 1976 that was operated by Transjet, a Swedish airline that went bankrupt in 2002. According to Jumbo Hostel, it was originally built for Singapore Airlines and later served with Pan Am. In 2008, the aircraft was retired and was converted into a hostel.
