American reality television star Austin Russell, also known as Chumlee, posted an image of a wrecked red Ferrari 458 quoting it was not his fault. Considering that he is depicted as the comic foil on the History Channel series, we’re wondering if he finds this incident funny, because we don’t.
You see what happens when you drive an Italian sportscar and you act all reckless with it? Seriously, you can’t just ignore a 4,5-litter V8 engine that incorporates Formula 1 technologies like that. With 562 horsepower aboard, any driver holding this beast in his hands needs to pay its 100% attention.

Well, it would seem the 31-year old TV star was driving properly and the wreck was made by somebody else: “wrecked a 458 on Ocean Drive Friday Night. Some bezzy opened the door into me while I was driving,” he quoted next to the image. However, considering he is a car-enthusiast, we would expect him to be more careful with the rides he takes on the road.

He might be the butt of the others’ jokes for his perceived lack of intelligence and his incompetence in the show, but we’re pretty sure that’s just the average showbiz marketing. As a matter a fact, Chumlee is pretty skilled with his autos, considering the 1986 Buick Regal he had customized with hydraulics on the front and back. He also owns a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Maserati GranTurismo and a 1964 Impala SS, among others.
