We’re all mourning the loss of the man that started the whole Fast and Furious madness but I think the best way to pay him homage is to remember what a great person he was. Paul Walker was one of the biggest car enthusiasts Hollywood has ever seen.
A while back we wrote about his car collection and that he had a vintage BMW 2002 Touring and a BMW E36 M3 LTW in his garage, meaning he was one of those guys that truly appreciated German cars. On top of those 2, he also had an E92 M3 model, supercharged and track ready, a car made with the help of the guys from Gintani that he really liked to race.
The whole car was done at AE Performance, the company run by his long-time friend, Roger Rodas, the man who was behind the wheel, next to him in the Carrera GT when the fiery crash occurred, leaving the world without one of its most talented actors.
You can actually watch Paul driving it on a track, against a 650 HP MINI Cooper and you’ll notice that he was a true car enthusiast both on and off screen and a pretty good driver too. All our thoughts go to Paul and Roger’s family! May they rest in peace!
