Peugeot are on a bit of a roll nowadays in terms of styling, with the grown up and sober 508, the stunning RCZ and, most recently, the very cute 208. However, the supermini will not be getting an estate version, like the 207 used to, as Peugeot have opted instead to make it taller, instead of longer.
The result is the 2008 crossover, an equally-stunning piece of French car design, featuring some more aggressive lines than those of its shorter sibling, as well as massive rims and an in-your-face paint finish. In concept form, at least, it looks great!

The design will undoubtedly be toned down in the production version, but expect the basic shapes and quirks to remain the same, when we will eventually see a production version of it, in the fall of next year. It will take the fight to established rivals, such as Nissan’s Juke, or the Skoda Yeti, as well as Opel’s new Mokka.
