The new Dacia Sandero supermini has been unveiled officially by Renault group at the Paris Motor Show today. This five-door hatchback will soon be rolling out of the Mioveni factory in Romania, sporting a completely different look, better interiors and new engines.
Let’s start with the looks for this Romania supermini, which are much beefier than the previous model, like the Duster sprinkled some of its toughness onto its smaller brother. The interior is also much improved, as the automaker know a better environment will make its customers happier. The biggest change in this department is a large 7-inch (18cm) display making its appearance.
his will permit touch controls of six functions in total: radio, media, phone, hands free calls, maps and navigation plus car setting.
The Sandero is also quite roomy for a car this size, offering a 320 liter boot with the seats up, or a massive 1,200 cargo area when the 60/40 split-folding rear bench is down.
The engine range will be the same as the Logan: TCE 90 petrol with 90 hp and 135 Nm or torque, 1.2 16v with 75 hp also available with LPG, and two 1.5-liter diesels with either 75 hp and 200 Nm or 90 hp and 220 Nm of torque.
