Paris 2012: Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder

Lamborghini was all about the Gallardo this year in Paris, which is strange because people actually expected them to bring the Aventador convertible. Instead what we got was another facelift for the regular LP560-4, a package for the Superleggera and the Performante and this.

Yes, it’s the tried and tested two-wheel drive Gallardo, the LP550-2, shown in Paris as a Spyder model with a cream interior and a marine blue body.

It was shown in the French capital because the new LP560-4 and the Edizione Tecnica for the LP570-4 underline only the and driving experience among the four-wheel drive versions of the Gallardo. So it wanted to let its fans know that the two-wheel drive Gallardo LP550-2 in Coupe and Spyder are still available to offer “unique design and performance of a Lamborghini in a simple and uncomplicated form.”

Once you start to think about it, you start to realize that no other supercar comes or has come with this sort of diversity. But enough is enough, and we really want a complete replacement for the Gallardo, the Cabrera, which now looks even more distant.
