It seems that Russians are teaching their kids to be tough right as they learn to walk. No, they are not giving them vodka and making them do push-ups (though we think some of them are doing it), instead they let them loose on the streets to learn for themselves how harsh life is.
This driver recorded a toddler running across the street right in front of him. His dad, apparently, was chasing him from distance, not looking too worried that his little boy is heading towards incoming cars on the street.
Luckily, everyone managed to stop in time not to hit the child. Although the event took place on a crosswalk, it is still not OK to let your infant cross it on his own, without looking and assuring that the drivers are aware of your presence and will stop in time.
