The Panamera is only sold in one body style today, that of a four-door coupe. So naturally, their designers were intrigued by the idea of moving it into a completely different direction, a sports station wagon.
They’ve yet to find a good name for it because “Sport Turismo” is too long, but we get the general idea. The proportions of the car have all been subtly changed to where you can’t help it, you just like it. That’s somewhat in contrast with the current Panamera, which has always gotten mixed reviews.

But Porsche buyers still want something else, a coupe, and we though that shooting brake roof is ideal for creating practicality and style in one package. This rendering of is called a Sport Brake Concept and it was created by Theophilus Chin. It’s very similar to a Ferrari FF in terms of styling.

And once you think about it, why would you buy a Ferrari FF if the Panamera was offered as a coupe, since it should come with all-wheel drive, more efficient engines and... non-Jeep navigation.

You might say that it can't be a coupe and have a wagon's boot at the same time. But the word coupe is french for "cut". We've cut two doors off, so it's now a coupe. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
