Pagani’s One-of-a-Kind Zonda PS

We never thought of the exclusive automaker Pagani as being that exclusive... It produced only five limited edition Zonda Cinque and all of them sold out. So what do you do when you are extremely wealthy, really want a Zonda, but it’s too late since all of them have found their owner?

Well, a British buyer found the perfect solution. He commissioned the Italian manufacturer to create a special Zonda, just for him, Luxist reported.

That is how the Zonda PS was born, a one-of-a-kind version made especially for Peter Saywell. And yes, you got it right. PS comes from his initials. Since the Cinque was sold out and the Zonda R can only be driven on the race track, the PS had to be based on the penultimate Zonda F chassis.

The gearbox is the same with the one to be used on the future C9 model and has a modified exhaust system. As you well know, Zonda F has 4 exhaust pipes that form a square which is surrounded by a circle.

But if you take a look at the pictures, you’ll see that in this PS model, the four pipelines are in line and are surrounded by an ellipse. The rear diffuser has also been changed and is about the same length as the one of Zonda Cinque.

Pagani’s one-of-a-kind Zonda PS can be easily identified by its unique paint scheme and four-abreast tailpipes.

The vehicle is said to be powered by a 650-horsepower version of the Zonda's Mercedes-AMG V12 engine driving through the sequential transmission developed for the Zonda's highly anticipated successor.

That is about fifty horses more than the Zonda F but only a little less than the Cinque and R versions.

What else can you find in Saywell’s garage? Well, let’s just say that beauties like Koenigsegg CCX, Lamborghini LP640, Porsche Carrera GT and Techart GTStreet will keep the Zonda PS warm in winter.
