Pagani Zonda X Emerges as Latest Version of the Hypercar

The Pagani Zonda is famous for many assets, but perhaps its most captivating detail is that no matter how old it gets, there will always be a new special edition or one-off. You are now looking its latest incarnation (to be honest, we’ve lost count of them) of the hypercar, which wears the Zonda X designation.

So far, the image above, which comes from thesupercarkids, is the only clue for the model’s existence, but the X probably wears the current technical standard for the Zonda, the 760. As far as the AMG-sourced V12 unit at the center of the car is concerned, this means the car has at least 760 horses. Still, we wouldn’t be all that surprised to see the monster being taken somewhere in the 800 hp area.

As for the eye candy, the Zonda X is dressed in a two-tone color scheme. The exposed carbon fiber meets a hue that appears to be a combination between Mint Green and Baby Blue. The icing on this visual cake is a tricolore stripe running across the entire length of the car.

Judging by the massive diffuser at the rear of the car, this could be one of those track-confined Zondas. Nonetheless, we could be dealing with a work-in-progress project here, so we’ll just have to wait and see what we can find out about this motorized jewel.

What can we say, May seems to have been a pretty good month for Zondas - we’ll remind you that earlier this month, the Pagani Zonda 760 LM showed up out, defying everybody and anything around it with its Le Mans prototype-style headlights.

After all these Zondas, what we really want to see is one mega-meet where each and every representative of the breed is present. Oh and we wouldn't mind if the Huayra joined in.
