The Pagani Zonda is on its way to exiting the automotive world stage, as the iconic supercar will make room for the C9 model (this is just the codename of the Zonda replacement).Knowing the Zonda, we were sure that it wasn’t going to leave without a world-shaking goodbye.

And it seems that the special moment is very close, as a series of pictures illustrating what could be the last Zonda, have been published by autoblog.nl.

Dubbed the Zonda Uno, the vehicle is believed to have been developed to celebrate the Zonda’s passing away. The one-off hypercar is said to be destined for a customer who is a member of the Al-Thani royal family of Qatar. The car was dressed in this sort-of-Bleu de France, as this is the color worn by all the supercars in the future owner’s harem.

The Zonda Uno will be (hyper)powered by a 7.3 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which develops 700 hp. The vehicle’s body borrows parts from other Zonda models, like the Zonda R and the Cinque and makes extensive use of carbon fiber.

The vehicle is currently under developments, with the final version expected to come with certain features that are different from what you can see in the images.

Since the automotive enthusiasts around the world have reserved such a huge space in their hearts for the Zonda, the upcoming C9 has a huge weight on its fenders, but we are pretty confident that the car will manage to take the legend one step further. You can read about the company’s future plans in an exclusive interview with Horacio Pagani here.
