If you're one of the lucky guys who will be attending the 2010 Geneva Motor Show next week in Switzerland, don't forget to visit Pagani's booth because you'll find some new goodies that could take you by surprise. Pagani's latest exotic beauty is entitled Zonda Tricolore, a tribute for the country's air force aerobatics team known as "Frecce Tricolori", which will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year.
And the overall appearance of the car really demonstrates that it has been created with the "air force" words in mind.
First of all, the Zonda Cinque-based model, employs carbon fiber weaved with titanium wire, with the whole exterior made of carbon. Red, white and green stripes on the exterior and in the cabin could be easily spotted on the Tricolore edition, as well as the all-new LED daytime running lights.
The engine is the same 7.3l V12 that develops 678 horsepower and 575 Nm of torque, with performance figures pointing to a 0-100 acceleration in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h).
Production of the Tricolore supercar will be very limited and is supposed to fill the void until the company introduces the new C9. As we said, the car will be on display at Geneva and will be sold for 1.3 million Euros, with all taxes included.
autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
