Pagani Zonda RAK One-Off Revealed

After the Uno Zonda and the HH, Horacio Pagani has rolled out another one-off model of the outgoing Zonda Cinque. This supercar dressed in bumblebee colors is called the Zonda RAK.

This swan-song of a Zonda is powered by the same 7.3-liter V12 AMG engine, producing a total of 702 hp (516kW). The powerful engine will take the the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over three seconds and on to a top speed of 350 km/h (218 mph).

This particular Zonda RAK will burn around 19.4 liters every 100 kilometers (12.1 mpg) and produce 463 grams of CO2 out of its quadruple tailpipes, according to the manufacturer.

The Italian thoroughbred is painted in two-tone black and yellow with large Matt-black wheels. The interior features carbon fiber bucket seats with four-point harness. The seats are covered in black leather for the sides and Alcantara for the center, stitched together with yellow double thread.

If you are interested in buying such a supercar, you will be glad to know that it is for sale at a German distributor called Autosalon Singen. The company says the car has already been used by one owner, who has done 90 km (56 miles) in it. If you find yourself wondering why he would sell it after such a short time, you could suspect it was because it might have been too expensive for him. The new buyer will also have to part ways with a lot of money: EUR1,849,000 ($2,545,000). We think Mr. Pagani is charging these unjustifiably high prices in order to fund his new projects.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
