Remember the one-off Pagani Zonda HH that was commissioned by a mysterious American and is set to be one of the greatest Zondas on the planet?

Well, the owner of the hypercar has now been uncovered. According to secretentourage.com, the vehicle belongs to David Heinemeier Hansson. This piece of information also solves the mystery built around the car’s name, with the “HH” obviously standing for Heinemeier Hansson.

We are talking about the software mogul that brought the Ruby on Rails web development framework to the virtual world. In addition to that, he is a partner of the software development company 37signals.

The story gets interesting if we want to talk about the ownership experience Hansson will have. Let us explain. The man runs his daily operations from Chicago, but the Zonda can’t be imported into the U.S. due to the fact that it doesn’t meet the country’s emissions regulations. This means that the hypercar will stay in the country where it is being built: Italy. The software guru has a vacation home there so now he also has a vacation car.

We take great pleasure in reminding you that the Pagani Zonda HH is powered by a naturally aspirated AMG V12 unit that delivers 687 hp and a maximum torque of 780 Nm and the engine only has to move 1,210 kg. The unit is assisted by a six-speed manual gearbox that sends the wave of power and torque to the rear wheels. The vehicle should leave the 62 mph mark behind in a brief 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed that offers an infinity of thrills.
