The Pagani Huayra is now out on the streets, but the Italian supercar producer is still pleasing customers who want one-off incarnations of the Zonda and everytime Pagani releases one of these, people start shouting “this is the last Zonda!”
Well, now we are dealing with a new “last Zonda”, with the vehicle using the Zonda 764 Passione designation, being based in the Zonda F chassis and coming with the muscles of the Zonda 760 RS.
No images of the car are available, but this is expected to be finished in fuchsia, following the current trend of crazy colors for supercars. However, the color will be mixed with exposed parts of the Zonda’s carbon fiber structure, creating a striking contrast. The info was provided by a member of the Teamspeed forums.
Getting back to the idea from the start of the article, the Zonda is getting closer and close to the actual end of its production, since AMG will no longer produce engines for the vehicle. SPeaking of powerplants, the Zonda 760 RS should be powered by a naturally-aspirated M120 V12 AMG unit with a displacement of 7.3 liters which offers 760 hp, an 20 hp premiun over what the Zonda R motorsport version has to offer.
