We recently showed you an image of the Pagani Zonda’s latest one-off model, the Zonda 760 X and now we’re back on the topic to give you a more detailed view of this mature hypercar.
The Zonda may have been replaced by the Huayra, but, in certain customers’ hearts, the Zonda will always be the best. For these people, Pagani keeps building one-offs, which treat everything, from looks to costs, with an extreme attitude. Time to get up close and personal with this Zonda 760 X then.
We’re used to seeing Zondas mix eye-catching colors with exposed carbon fiber, but this one is as stunning as they get. As if it was imitating the Tron supercar idea in London, the car comes with Baby Blue... pipping for the edges of the carbon giber bits. Examples incluse the rear diffuser and the rear wing. While the trick matches the main areas of the car, which are dressed in Baby Blue, the aforementioned aerodynamic elements are more than massive.
As Prototype 0 aptly notes, the color scheme reminds us of the Zonda Cinque, while the rear light surround elements finished in the colors of the Italian flag are a nod to the Zonda UNO.
The same Baby Blue is found on the brake calipers, while the wheels come finished in anodized magnesium, not unlike what we’ve seen on the Zonda Cinque. Under the bonet, we find a custom engine cover wearing the car’s name as if it was a tattoo.
And if you thought that this particular hue looks extreme on the outside of the car, wait until you see what it does for the cabin. Here, the contrast it creates with the dark surfaces turns the Zonda's alreadyt flamboyant interior into another world.
The full details of the Zonda 760 X are still unknown, but its designation tells us the AMG-sourced V12 in its middle should allow the driver to play with 760 horses. Nevertheless, the extreme aerodynamic elements mean we still can’t be sure if this is a track-confined Zonda or not
