Pagani Huayra Zagato Rendered, Needs To Be Built

Pagani always love to develop new flavors for the original Zonda and the Huayra and yet it seems the Internet wants more. So, for instance, while San Cesario sul Panaro recently delivered the Huayra Roadster BC, the virtual (for now) derivative we have here seems to stand out even more - ladies and gentlemen drivers, welcome to the Huayra Zagato.
We are obviously dealing with a rendering here, albeit one that seems to capture the spirit of the Italian design house perfectly.

From where I'm standing, the front and the rear fascias are the best bits of the transformation, from that air-hungry mouth to the way in which the quadruple exhaust setup was integrated.

This virtual machine started out as a sketch made by British aficionado Dillon Dove, which was put into render form by digital art label lmm23 design.

And the introduction of the Huayra Zagato is not accidental, since 2019 sees Zagato celebrating its 100th birthday, while this March marked the 20th anniversary of the Pagani Zonda.

Now, perhaps the best part of this adventure is that the hypercar sitting before us could be built.

You see, unlike other Italian automotive design houses, Zagato has remained a family business and this gives the company to work on toys as diverse as the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake (here's one whose owner wanted a pink twist) and the MV Augusta F4Z.

The said artists talk about maintaining the machine's Mercedes-AMG-supplied twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 and this only makes sense given the real-world hopes mentioned above.

Truth be told, Pagani could use a bolder venture such as this one, as the Italian automotive producer's otherwise brilliant machines need an extremely well trained eye to be distinguished. So perhaps all we need now is an eccentric gear head who would convince the two Italian brands that his or her garage needs this creation.
