The Zonda isn't the only Pagani that gets produced in a zillion editions. Much to our delight, the Huayra also makes for a large family, one's that received a new member today. We're talking about the Huayra Roadster BC, which made its debut in the CSR Racing 2 game.
With developments such as this one normally being sold out before the public unveiling, the Italian automotive producer decided the newcomer should land in digital form.

The virtual Huayra Roadster BC

As such, the go-even-faster BC version of the Huayra Roadster we received one year ago is now available in the CSR Racing 2 drag racing game.

So, what do you have to do to get your hands on the hypercar? Well, the "standard" Huayra Coupe is offered as standard and you can use this to enter an 80-race tournament, one that allows you to add the Huayra Roadster BC to your garage, while also offering the chance to grab the Zonda HP Barchetta as a final reward.

Zynga, the San Francisco-based developer behind the game, whose name you might be familiar with thanks to titles such as FarmVille, has come up with an augmented reality feature for CSR Racing 2 - as you'll notice in the second video below, this allows you to zoom in on each and every detail of the Pagani in a setup of choice.

The actual hypercar

The Huayra Roadster BC actually started its life as a one-off. However, word spread rapidly and Pagani was eventually loaded with orders, so the San Cesario sul Panaro factory will bring 40 units to the world, which is twice as many as the BC Coupe.

Each unit comes with a price of $3.5 million and we can probably expect all of them to have already found owners.

The Mercedes-AMG-supplied twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 heart of the Huayra Roadster BC has been pushed further to a nicely rounded 800 hp and 774 lb-ft of torque.

Switching to the appearance of the machine, we don't have any official images of the toy at the moment, but you can check this out in the first video below (the pics above and the second clip beings the said game renders).

The idea is that the newcomer is much more than a Huayra BC with no roof - there are new body panels with custom aero. As for the number "20" on the doors, this is a nod to the company's 20th anniversary.

The scale footprint

When Pagani introduced the Huayra Roadster in 2018, this stunned us by tipping the scales at 2,822 lbs (1,280 kg), which made it considerably lighter than the 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg) coupe.

Then again, the fixed-roof Huayra BC, which made its debut back in 2016 as a tribute to the late Benny Caiola, the company's first client and a friend of founder Horacio Pagani, is some 300 lbs lighter than the "normal" car thanks to a material called carbon triax, tipping the scales at just 2,685 lbs (1,217 kg).

Well, the Huayra Roadster BC wighs in at 2,756 lbs (1,250 kg), which is a brilliant figure even without considering that we're dealing with an open-top machine.

The seven-speed automated manual (single-clutch) tranny has also been upgraded, while this sends the power to the road with the help of Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires that have a dedicated compound.

Pagani will probably take the Huayra Roadster BC to Pebble Beach next month for a physical debut.
