After years of struggling with regulations, Pagani has finally managed to deliver the amazing Huayra to its first customer in North America. Following its painstaking assembly by hand in Italy, the beautiful dark hypercar was recently delivered by plane to its customer in Los Angeles.
The matte finish on this particular car look remarkably similar to the one recently wrapped by Los Angeles shop Gi Motorsports. Giving credit to our claims is the fact that the Huayra leaves Italy in gloss black and arrives with most of its bodywork matted out. If we're right, the delivery and this really is Huayra number 59, than the delivery was actually made back in May and chaperoned by McLaren Beverly Hills.
The same company that made the legendary Zonda believes America will be its largest market. 40 percent of the amazing 720-hp machines will be shipped out to the United States, which is not surprising at all.
If you're interested in spending somewhere in the region of $1.3 million (€955,000) on a carbon fiber Italian exotic with a 6-liter twin-turbo V12, know that six dealers have already been officially announced:
“We always knew that the demand for Pagani vehicles from the United States was very high. The Pagani Huayra was the company’s most ambitious project so far. Developing a high performance sportscar from scratch to be compliant with EU and US requirements was a challenge our engineers and designers faced with enthusiasm, to create a Pagani vehicle that could be enjoyed by virtually every potential customer, everywhere around the globe," said Horacio Pagani, CEO and Chief Designer at Pagani Automobili.
