Pagani Huayra BC Roadster Shows Up in Traffic, Debut Imminent

While it is true that the level of customization offered to Pagani drivers means each machine built in San Cesario sul Panaro is unique, we can obviously talk about the distinct models in the Italian builder's lineup. And the time has come to discuss one that has yet to be revealed, namely the Huayra BC Roadster.

We've been spying the Benny Caiola Roadster incarnation of the Huayra over the year, with its debut being just around the corner - the public introduction should take place this year, even there are chances of the procedure being delayed for the first quarter of 2019.

Meanwhile, the piece of footage at the bottom of the page allows you to check out a prototype doing its thing out on public roads.

The Pagani Huayra Roadster is already the kind of machine that mixes amazing numbers with the kind of driving experience that's impossible to replace. However, as it has been the case with the fixed-roof model, the BC treatment will make the machine even friendlier to the scales, so you can expect extra carbon fiber.

For one thing, the material should be used for the upcoming machine's removable top.

Then there's the firepower upgrade. The twin-turbo V12 motor occupying the middle section of the hypercar, which comes from Mercedes-AMG, is expected to be taken past the 800 horsepower mark.

And while the engine might rely on twin-turbocharging to deliver its muscle, its voice will be the kind that keeps one awake at night.

Let's say you happen to be in the market for such an Italian masterpiece. Well, if you haven't already talked to Horacio Pagani about it, it might just be too late.

You see, when the Huayra BC Coupe was introduced, the carmaker stated it would only bring 20 units to the world, with each retailing for around $2.5 million. And, at this level of exclusivity, buyers gets to touch the car well ahead of the general public.
