It seems that tuning companies around the world have a new AMG toy to play with, now that the M133 from the Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG, CLA 45 AMG and the recently-unveiled GLA 45 AMG has started to appear in markets all over the world.
The Germans from mcchip-dkr, for example, aren't new at upgrading the smallest AMG engine ever, as we featured their 450 hp version of the A 45 AMG in December 2013.
There are people out there for whom 450 hp may be either too much or they simply find the respective tune a bit on the expensive side.
Thankfully, as we mentioned back in December, mcchip-dkr offer other tuning stages for the M133 engine, and the following A 45 AMG is apparently sporting the Stage One version.
A simple ECU modification increases the stock 360 hp and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque to a much more convenient 404 hp and 528 Nm (389 lb ft) of torque.
