Over 200 BMW M3 and M4 Already Ordered in the UK

According to Autocar, quoting BMW officials from the island, over 200 BMW M3 and M4 models have already been ordered, following their world debuts at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Traditionally, the UK market is one of the biggest for these M cars, officials estimating that about 10 percent of the total M3 and M4 that will be made will be sent over to the Queen’s land.

Both cars will be using the same 3-liter biturbo engine that makes 431 HP and 550 Nm of torque hooked up to either a new 6-speed manual gearbox or the 7-speed DCT gearbox we’ve been getting used to.

The BMW M3 and M4 will be entering production in March with the first test drives to take place somewhere in April, whilst the dealerships will be welcoming the first models somewhere in June. Prices start at GBP56,175 for the M3 and GBP56,635 for the M4.
