We all know the Liberty Walk kit is pretty much the most extreme thing you can bolt (it literally bolts onto the body) to a Ferrari 458 supercar. Of course, the million-dollar Mansory models are more expensive, but the LW flared arches just look so much more… extreme.
In recent years, we've seen lots of awesome wide-body Ferraris, but we never thought of this side of the mod. If what the guys in this video are saying is true, then you have to cut the wings before installing a Liberty Walk kit, which is like cutting up $100 bills to make art. What commitment!

OEM tuning parts usually just bolt onto the factory mounting point, so the changes are completely reversible. Why is that important? Because the resale value of a tuned Ferrari is drastically reduced. But the LW kit is permanent and completely ruins about ten thousand dollars worth of sexy Italian car parts.

We don't fully understand what the guys are saying, but apparently, this is the owner of the JP Performance tuning shop, and none of his colleagues wanted to take an angle grinder to a perfect Ferrari. Who can blame them?

What they're doing is just like one of those extreme body modifications, like splitting your tongue in two or tattooing your whole body with leopard spots. But I guess that just like our notion of a beautiful woman, what constituted a nice exotic car is changing.

We've added a couple of photos showing other 458 Italia models with the Liberty Walk kit, and we'll leave it up to you to decide if it's worth permanently altering a perfect car.
