OtoR is yet a new electric bicycle from Spain's Oto Cycles, a small manufacturer with a big, imaginative mind. Give the fact that the retro looks are back with a bang, it's only a small surprise to see the OtoR proudly showing off the 30's attire.
The bike is long and loaded with beefy, boardtracker-like tires, with whitewalls being optional. The Schwinn-esque ample frame is made of steel with the racked fork adding a ton of cool factor to the build. The rest of the bike is all-aluminium, for a total weight of 25 kg (55 lbs).
OtoR is powered by a 250W motor, with a 500W option. The stock motor delivers a 25 km/h (15.5 mph) top speed, while the bigger one is good for 42 km/h (26 mph).
You get a 40 km (24.8 miles) on battery only, with up to 60 km (40 miles) in pedal-assist mode, and 0-6 km/h (0-4 mph) start without pedaling. You get to choose the Brooks seat and grips and the color of the frame.
Add in powerful 160mm disc brakes for both front and rear and a price of €2,850 ($3,891) for the sweet-looking OtoR.
