Apparently, all sorts of strange things go on in the Middle East and only a small proportion of that is known in the West. This is a perfect example of weirdness. What was the ostrich doing there and who or what was it running from? We don’t see any coyotes chasing it.
While watching this video, we were clinging onto the bases of our seats as cars were driving all around it and at one point it even bumps into a car which changes lanes (without indicating). At one point it gets harrased by an SUV driver and goes off the road, probably being very frightened and annoyed at the same time.
We hope it all ended well for the ostrich and he returned home after this unfortunate event which must have been rather traumatic for the poor flightless-bird.
