Orlando Bloom Involved in Minor Car Accident

If you are a famous actor it doesn’t really mean that you are superhuman and you never make mistakes. After all, a small fender bender once in a while could happen to anybody. Even to Orlando Bloom, as TMZ informed.

The incident happened two days ago in Los Angeles, but neither Bloom, nor the other driver were injured. Moments after the accident, the actor swapped insurance details with the other motorist before driving away from the scene.

Luckily, it was a guy, or else Orlando could have found himself harassed with some phone calls in the middle of the night...

After all, the actor was chosen as the sexiest male movie star by Empire Magazine and was one of People magazine’s ‘Hottest Bachelors in 2004.

The actor got his first major role when played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings. The LOTR success transformed Bloom from an unknown actor into one of world’s best-known celebrities. He then starred opposite Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, also a major success in the movie industry.

Bloom was also involved in a car crash two years ago, and though he walked away from the scene of the accident, he was not charged by the L.A. police. The incident that occurred in October 2007 was only a few miles away from the recent minor accident. Then, the actor was cut off by another driving, which caused him to crash into a parked Porsche Cayenne.

The Toyota Matrix driven by the actor at that time was registered to Darius Wolski, the director of photography of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films. Though it was quite a serious crash, no one was killed in the incident. However, a woman sitting in the backseat of the Porsche’s car suffered minor injuries.
