We're pretty sure many enthusiasts have dreamed about adorning their driveway with the original Honda NSX more than once. However, once you do what you have to do and grab yourself the senior supercar, what will the maintenance costs be?
Such purchases are always a bit like playing the lottery, but owners sharing their NSX financial adventures will help a lot. For now, we want to focus on the 2004 NSX in the clip below.

This car has been owned by Rob Ferretti for the last two years, with the "collector" now deciding to share the financial status of the relationship with us.

We've added the quotes above since Rob doesn't have your typical collector garage. Instead, we're talking about five or six machines that are about a decade old, from this NSX, to the obvious Ferraris and even 997 911 GT3.

Returning to this particular NSX, we once again receive a confirmation on the mid-engined machine's reliability. For instance, the owner explains he has only invested around $1,000 per year into maintenance.

Sure, the overall costs are considerably higher, but that's because he treated the NSX as a LEGO contraption, adding bits that made him feel better about the vehicle. When this involves items such as the brakes, the costs will climb to a level that might make you want to reconsider such optional moves.

And while some of you will play the hiss-and-boo card when it comes to elements such as the neons underneath the car, you'll be thrilled to find out the ricer-like wheels the car was purchased with have been replaced with manufacturer units.

As Rob explains, the NSX market is agitated at the moment, so you should take your time. Expect to pay between $35,000 and $70,000 for one, depending on the state of your OCD. Now, make sure you open a text document before hitting the "play" button below.
