Orange Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Cruising

Supercars from across America and sometimes beyond are descending upon Monterey for the biggest gathering of exciting motors ever. While his way there, supercar spotter CarandCoffeeIrvine filmed this rare Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse cruising in style on the highway.
The orange monster is like a convertible version of the Super Sport that’s been setting production car speed records. This means that the W16 quad-turbo engine has been tweaked to produce 1,200 hp and a peak torque of 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) nstead of 1,001 hp and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) that the regular convertible gets.

As far as we know, this is the fastest and most powerful open-top two-seater on the planet right now, and for the trip to Monterey, it’s brought over a friend.

“The rapid success of the Super Sport convinced us to increase the performance of the Bugatti roadster. Once again our engineers worked hard to demonstrate that Bugatti is able to constantly redefine the boundaries of what is technically feasible,” said Bugatti President Wolfgang Durheimer.

“We gave our all to transfer the achievements of the Super Sport over to the Grand Sport, thereby turning open-top driving itself into an extraordinary experience at high speed," the executive explained.
