Well folks, it's a rare thing to see an Opel go against a BMW in a drag race, at any level. Let's face it, they play in different leagues. However, passion can drive a man crazy and that's how incredibly powerful cars show up.
One such beast is the following Opel Vectra OPC, a car that used to be top dog back in 2007 but fell from graces lately. The owner fitted the 2.8-liter V6 engine with a Garrett GTX3076R turbo charged to 1.75 bar, a full custom exhaust and a couple more bits and pieces, all in the hopes of creating a drag racing beast.

On the other hand we have a stock BMW F10 M5 with a Switzer exhaust. The car makes 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque out of the stock 4.4-liter V8 engine under its bonnet, hooked up to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

What do you suppose it happened? Well, the Bimmer won but we have to give mad props to the Opel for doing admirably well.
