It seems that not only Ford is making changes at the highest executive level, but also Opel (and Vauxhall), as the company is looking to enlist the services of former VW China boss, Karl-Thomas Neumann. The move will apparently not take place right away, and is tipped to happen some time after the middle of next year.
An official Opel statement, from the German version of the Financial Times, said: “Neumann as boss would be good for Opel. He has the credentials that we need.” The company does really need a shake-up, and perhaps Neumann is just what they need to break free of the financial rut they are in right now.

Opel is currently a money pit for GM, and while the complete closure has not been publicly discussed, we are sure there have been plenty of board meetings discussing just this matter.
