Ever wonder what Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck drive? We figured it was something like a Fiat 500 or VW Beetle, but according to a recent GM statement, it’ actually an Opel, if you’re talking about Disneyland Paris at least.

“General Motors France and Euro Disney Associates have announced the signature of a partnership agreement concerning the use of promotional rights for the Disney and Disneyland Paris brands. Under this agreement, GM’s Opel brand will be the official Disneyland Paris automotive partner for the next two years,”
the official statement reads.

The Disney brand will be used to promote family vehicles like the Opel Zafira Tourer and the Opel Meriva at Europe’s number-one tourist destination, and probably in commercials as well. With 15 million vehicles a year crossing the gates of Disneyland Paris, this is a huge marketing opportunity for the automaker.

Disneyland will also run a fleet of Opel Ampera extended-range EVs.
