There are many cars that frequently go under the spotlights of the aftermarket scene, receiving all the attention in the world. However, the Opel/Vauxhall Meriva isn’t one of them. Thus, we were happy when we found out that one example of the vehicle (we must thank stancenation), a first generation one coming from Belgium.
The vehicle in question has received a lot of tuning care from its owner, being turned into a tempting small MPV.
The vehicle was fitted with a KW variant 1 suspension that brings it closer to the road and received 17-inch rims borrowed from a Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division (thse use custom chrome Affalterbach center caps). The vehicle also uses a set of 20mm spacers for both the front and the rear axles, as well as a kit that adjust the rear camber. The car uses 185/35 nankang tires.
The list of exterior mods includes a OPC/VXR rear fascia and exhaust tip, a beige finish for the front bumper lip (this one is questionable if you ask us), as well as yellow fog lights, a Irmnsher front grille and a black finish for all the exterior parts. Of course, the same color was used for the window tint. Even the tailights received a black tint, in order to complete the dark look of the vehicle.
Moving on, the interior uses a black leather finish, also bringing al Alcantara finish for certain elements. The owner explains that he has also paid attention to the little details, modifying various minor parts of the cabin.
