Opel Lineup Preview at Shanghai 2013

After an absence of five years, German based automaker Opel is back at the main motor show in China with some of their newest cars.

Opel will bring to the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show three new models to thicken their lineup in China - the Insignia ST, Astra GTC and Zafira Tourer.

“The three new Opel entries will broaden the brand’s product lineup in China to help satisfy the increasingly diverse demands of Chinese vehicle buyers. They embody Opel’s proud heritage of German engineering and technology excellence. With these award-winning models we are making a highly attractive offer to our Chinese customers in three more different market segments. ”, said Jürgen Keller, Director International Operations, Adam Opel AG.

The three categories presented by the carmaker (station wagon, MPV and coupe) are becoming more and more popular among the growing younger Chinese generation, that demands fresh products with high-quality details and style.

Opel is launching an export ‘offensive’, with China being its current target, after its‘struck’ in Israel, Singapore, Chile, Australia and the United Arab Emirates’ market.
