Today in news that very few people care about, Opel has just revealed a special edition of the Cascada called Supreme. Cascada Supreme - doesn't that sound like a spa treatment or an energy drink?
The Buick Cascada just got a special edition as well, so maybe they didn't want to leave out the Europeans. Or maybe Opel just realized it didn't have that many things to show during the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

We say that because the Cascada Supreme Special Edition isn't all that special. About the most interesting fact about it is that it can be ordered in “Pull Me Over Red,” “Summit White” or “Black Meet Kettle.”

The first two colors are the best choices, as this special model also features a black grille and tinted headlights. Those parts look so good that we wonder why the Cascada wasn't sold like this from the beginning.

Just like the American special edition, the Supreme also features 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels. Other highlights include the body-colored crossbar that goes over the trunk and the red stitching for all the interior, dashboard and doors included. Heck, it even has a bit of faux carbon fiber added for good measure.

It seems red is the new hit color over at Opel headquarters, as the Cascada's makeover was inspired by the GT Concept, which had red wheels and a glowing red signature line.

This could very well be the most beautiful front-wheel drive convertible currently sold in Europe. Even the Audi A3 Cabrio pales in comparison. But will that be enough?

Pricing for the Cascada Supreme Special Edition should be announced at the end of the month when it makes its debut. But for now, we can tell you that the Sienna black leather seats are optional. Power is likely to come from the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 170 or 200 ponies.
