Opel Astra OPC Gets Wrapped in Aztec Brown Metallic

This is the new Opel Astra OPC and it while we don't love it, we do like it. While Opel has failed to make the car affordable and exciting, it's actually the most powerful production front wheel drive hot hatch on sale today.

While most of the world has failed to notice the car, Germany seems to love it a lot and we kind of get where they are coming from. Based on the 3-door GTC which we tested last year, it's fresh and sharp, but very understated.

The 'understated' part can be easily fixed with a film of vinyl wrap and we found a cool video of the Astra OPC getting its new colors. The vinyl is called aztec bronze is actually a sort of metallic brown. It's very popular right now with Audi and Porsche owners, since it's a really cool alternative to the classic brown color.

This video also shows us some of the finer details on a tuning project like this. For example, OPC logos are placed underneath the wrap to create a relief.
