If you're looking for a large vehicle to carry lots of things and seven people at once, you're spoiled for choice really. But if you want to also go fast and be efficient, you're mad we tell you.
Fortunately, Opel hasn't forgotten people movers can and should be amazing, and have stuck one of their most interesting engines into the Zafira Tourer.

Putting their 2.0-liter CDTI BiTurbo under the bonnet means the Zafira Tourer now has no less than 195 PS and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.

It the same engine as the one found in the Astra or Insignia, and in the Zafira it manages a respectable 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The good news is that it's still very efficient, despite all the power, averaging 5.6 liters per 100km or 50 mpg on the UK cycle.

The new Zafira Tourer BiTurbo has already been added to been made available in Germany, where it's priced from €35,405 with deliveries scheduled for April.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
