Opel Adam Rocks S is set to make a debut at the International Amsterdam Motorshow starting next week, so Opel came up with photos and details.
Opel Adam Rocks gets the S treatment from Russelsheim and according to its makers, the hot 'missover' (that's coming from mini crossover) is "anything but cute and definitely not slow." But we'll rather give the final verdict on that after we drive Opel's rugged-sporty-micro-SUV.

Under the hood, Opel placed the familiar 1.4-liter ECOTEC turbocharged petrol mill that promises to pump 150 HP and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque without shattering fuel efficiency.

In fact, Opel says the Adam Rocks S will only drink 5.9 liters of fuel at every 100 km (39.8 mpg US) but that's hard to believe since that S badge has to prove a point, and customers will look to exploit that.

Russlelsheim officials are also emphasizing their product's driving capabilities, besides its hipsterish look.

“The typical protective cladding and the strongly defined contours of the side sills give it a purposeful appearance with the engine and the chassis delivering pure driving pleasure,” added Niels Loeb, chief designer of the Adam Rocks S.

That being said, we'd like to mention that the Rocks S can go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.5 seconds. Moreover, it can reach a top speed of 210 km /h (mph) but we should all agree that nobody will go that fast in a Rocks S.

However, Opel hopes someone will push the Rocks S to the limit and lowered the suspension by 15 mm, updated the braking system and allows the ESP to be switched off.
