With only one month left until the Geneva Motor Show, Opel previewed the Adan ROCKS Concept, a car they describe as being an "industry first urban mini-crossover".

Compared to the regular Adam city car, the ROCKS Concept "walks" on raised suspension and bigger tyres, it's been fitted with some specific off-road body components, and a central exhaust.

For the cool part, the concept was given a fabric retractable roof that we've already seen on cars like the Fiat 500C or the Citroen DS3 Cabrio, and also to be found on the cabrio version of the Adam to be released in late 2014.

It combines the toughness of a crossover with the coolness of open air driving. As a symbol for fashion-led, active drivers wanting to stand out from the crowd, Adam ROCKS is just one possible answer to the question of how new development paths for the absolutely unique car can be forged - and others will follow," explained Malcolm Ward, Opel/Vauxhall Lead Design Director.

Opel Adam ROCKS will be officially revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show on March 5th. Here's hoping it's really that cool!
