OnStar Advisors Land Award for Customer Service

The always gentle voice you hear time and again speaking with you from the OnStar command center got a face this week, after the telematics solutions provider was awarded the 2011 Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service. Perhaps for the first time this year, it was not OnStar itself that was recognized, but the people who make up the link between the services and the customers.

As most of you already know, the OnStar advisors are there to answer your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round. And whereas for you the single call a day you make to OnStar might not mean much, the day of the advisors at the other end of the line is made up of some 100,000 customer requests.

“Our exceptional advisors and dedicated call center staff are a critical element that separate OnStar from our competitors and we’re proud to see them recognized,” said Terry Inch, OnStar director, subscriber services.”Our advisors are expertly trained specialists who are prepared to assist drivers in the most extreme situations.”

For all you OnStar customers, this spring the company prepared a very interesting sweepstakes, meant to further promote the service. Called Push On, the competition only requires all those interested to press the blue OnStar button in the vehicle from now through May 31, 2011.

Once they do, they are automatically entered into the competition and will get the chance to win a new vehicle from the GM lineup, of their own choosing: Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac.
