Built with customization in mind just like the Star Bolt, the BMW R nineT is rapidly becoming one of the most favored bikes designers use for limited edition releases. It’s time to introduce the Brooklyn Scrambler from Boxer Design and GANT Rugger.
The bike was commission by fashion creators GANT Rugger to the French customizers at Boxer Design, and it helps popularize the apparel manufacturer. Only 6 such R nineT machines will be manufactured and sold in select BMW dealerships across France, so if you fancy riding a GANT Rugger roadster, you’d better start making phone calls.
Built in Boxer Design’s workshop in Toulouse, the Brooklyn Scrambler catches the eye with its awesome two-piece leather seat, a bespoke item which harks back to the retro designs. Diamond stitching and an awesome worn brown color make the seat looks both exquisite and vintage, clearly one of the aces GANT Rugger has up its sleeve.
The rocker covers got a “Scrambler by Boxer Design” engraving job, tan wrapping was used on the headers and dual, stacked Akrapovic exhausts now equip the R nineT. A custom intake aluminium cover was installed, alongside LED turn signal and black anodized mirrors to match the black headlight grille.
An exclusive Grey Denim paint was used in conjunction with elegant white pinstripes for an even more alluring look. The Brooklyn Scrambler got the mandatory Continental TKC80 knobbies and an €18,500 ($25,600) price tag. Gant Rugger is throwing in a collector’s edition parka, as well.
