I hope you’ve been saving up, ‘cause this sexy thing doesn’t come cheap.
Back in November, Ducati stunned the two-wheeler realm with the reveal of the 2021 model in their mighty XDiavel lineup. For countries where Euro 5 restrictions are the norm, this bad boy will be fully compliant to these regulations, while other markets (including the U.S. and Canada) will receive the standard version of the Testastretta DVT 1262 powerplant.

On the range-topping Black Star variant, this monstrous piece of Italian machinery will gladly produce up to 152 ponies at 9,500 rpm, while a serious torque output of 93 pound-feet (126 Nm) will be summoned at approximately 5,000 revs. As the name suggests, the liquid-cooled behemoth prides itself with a generous displacement of no less than 1,262 cc.

Now, in case you happen to be in North America and find the XDiavel Black Star’s characteristics just as juicy as we do, then you might be delighted to learn that Bologna’s moto masters will ship fifty of these monstrosities over to the U.S. and Canadian markets. Each of them will be numbered from one to 50, reflecting the fact that you’re dealing with a limited-edition machine.

For this version, you will find the same state-of-the-art features as on its European sibling. Some of these include a Power Launch starter module that’ll put the Testastretta engine in motion faster than you can read that name, three riding modes (Sport, Urban and Touring), as well as an array of top-grade electrical functions managed via handlebar controls and the 3.5-inch TFT dashboard. Furthermore, ABS Cornering and Traction Control are both standard features of this beast.

As for pricing and availability, the new Ducati XDiavel Black Star will hit dealerships in April, 2021, being priced at $25,995 in the States. On the other hand, Canadian customers will be able to purchase this creature for $28,995 (Canadian dollars).

Should you be interested, we’d strongly encourage that you contact your local Ducati dealer as soon as possible. I mean, these things will probably sell like hot cakes, if you ask me!
