So you finally got that one month vacation this summer. Early flying tickets, accommodation, bookings, everything was well organized. It’s going to be summertime madness, a long expected time off you need. Name one thing your group of friends will miss when finally sightseeing that gorgeous Caribbean island! A one-person electric boat, of course.
Remember those fishing vacations when you’d need to inflate that plastic boat for your kids to play around. You’d need to act like the captain, and paddle as you'd cruise for hours. It is quality time spent with your family; we all love this type of things. But now and then you feel the urge for some full relaxation. Sometimes you just feel like stepping in a boat and let it drift you away in the middle of the water, enjoy a fresh cold beer and the sun.

That’s why this one-person boat will fit you. A 12 Volt electric motor drives its two-bladed propeller, providing 4-mph (6.4 km/h) cruises over calm lakes or ponds. Hammacher Schlemmer claims it’s ideal for accessing secret swimming holes, fishing spots or visiting neighboring docks.

Built with the latest fiberglass construction, the E-boat is trimmed with mahogany, chromed moldings, and stainless steel drink holders. The person cruising will relax in twin foam-padded recumbent seats upholstered in marine-grand vinyl. Because, let’s face it, technology works best with eccentric design.

According to the source, its wide beam and low center of gravity provide reliable stability for one person up to 320 lbs (145 kg). It was designed with five forward and two reverse speeds you can manually change while a starboard hand tiller with a thumb-activated throttle provides easy steering.

Entertainment is of great importance which is why this boat also integrates a waterproof 120-watt audio system with two 5’’ speakers you connect to your iPod. A built-in cooler that holds up to 12 bottles or cans is also blended. The only thing left for you to do is find $3,500, because that’s what this puppy costs.
